The Cobra Fortis 25FTB is expertly designed for maintaining sports pitches and immaculate lawns. It comes equipped with a ten-blade cutting cylinder, a grooved front roller, and a turf rake to deliver precise, high-quality lawn care. With a generous 63cm (25″) cutting width and a precision-ground, ten-blade cylinder, it delivers a flawless, scissor-like cut for a beautifully manicured bowling green finish. Its interchangeable cassette system allows for easy swapping of the cutting cylinder with a range of additional lawn care attachments.
The combination of a grooved steel front roller and a steel, rubber-coated, split-differential rear roller creates the classic striped effect that cylinder mowers are known for. The rollers also allow you to slightly overhang flower bed edges, so you can mow right up to the boundary without the risk of scalping. The cutting height is adjustable from an impressively low 3mm to 30mm with a single screw, allowing you to set the perfect height for your lawn and the current conditions.
The large 90-litre front-mounted grass box offers efficient grass collection and easy emptying. A turf rake is included to lift the grass blades, improving the cutting performance for a cleaner, more precise finish. The mower’s folding handles make it easy to transport and store.
Powered by a reliable 5hp Briggs & Stratton XR750 Series™ engine that runs on E10 fuel, the self-propelled Fortis 25FTB is equipped with an easy recoil start and a durable drive system. It also includes a blade brake clutch (BBC) that disengages the blades without stopping the engine, saving you from having to restart the mower repeatedly during a session. This feature is particularly useful when moving between different areas of grass, crossing hard surfaces, emptying the grass box, or stopping to clear obstacles without the blades continuing to turn.
