The DHY22KSEm, a 22kW single-phase diesel generator from Hyundai, efficiently powers large homes, offices, and construction sites with its 33hp HY4102 engine, delivering up to 27.5KVA/22kW backup and 25KVA/20kW prime power. It has both manual and ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) start options, which automatically activate in power outages to ensure continuous power for critical operations such as servers or refrigeration. A digital control panel keeps track of oil, temperature, and battery levels, making maintenance simpler. This quiet, 'silenced' model emits only 66dB at 7 metres and is housed in a durable, anti-corrosion canopy, making it suitable for both prime and standby use. The slow-running, water-cooled engine extends its life by supporting sensitive electronics via an AVR alternator and operating efficiently on low-cost red diesel.
