MANTIS 3333 Tiller Plough Attachment

The Mantis Plough digs deeper furrows and builds larger mounds. This attachment assists you in creating ideal growing conditions for your potatoes, leeks, and other vegetables.

To grow in a deep planted environment, potatoes and leeks, for example, require regular attention. This is where the Mantis Plough comes in handy. Set the furrower to the required depth, allow the tiller to move forward, and the plough blade creates a wide furrow, just like a plough. This action can also be used to create a ring of earth around rows of potato plants.

The plough blade is easily adjustable to any of the five height settings by removing a clevis pin, moving the blade, and then reinserting the pin. The depth of the furrows can thus be easily controlled, ranging from shallow to deep furrows.

In addition to the standard tiller tines, the Plough is attached to the Mantis tiller and can plough the earth up to 18-20"/45-50cm wide.

Make a furrow, plant your seed potatoes, and then use the Mantis plough to make a second furrow alongside the first. The action of constructing the second row will bury the first row. Each successive row can be created while earthing over the previous row as you move across your vegetable plot, saving hours of work. This is also accomplished without the need for any laborious digging or bending down.
