The Cobra SG15L is a powerful stump grinder, driven by a Loncin 420cc 15hp 4-stroke engine with overhead valve technology and low oil level protection. This robust engine makes it capable of effortlessly removing even the toughest and most challenging tree stumps, delivering outstanding results with minimal effort.

The power is efficiently transmitted to the stump cutting wheel via a centrifugal clutch and twin poly-V belts, which can be easily adjusted for optimal performance by loosening the engine bolts and rotating the belt adjuster. Designed to make stump removal faster and less strenuous, the SG15L can handle stumps and root systems up to 90cm in diameter, with a cutting depth range from 600mm above the ground to 235mm below. The cutting wheel is equipped with 9 replaceable teeth tipped with mining-grade tungsten carbide, which is 10 times harder than steel and crushes wood into chips in seconds.

For enhanced comfort and control, the SG15L features a left wheel handbrake and engine throttle that are conveniently operated from the handlebars. The cutting area is fully enclosed to protect the operator from flying wood chips.

Weighing 104kg, the Cobra SG15L is easy to manoeuvre thanks to its large adjustable handlebars and heavy-duty pneumatic tires, ideal for rough terrain. The grinder also includes an emergency stop button and a 'deadman' stop feature, triggered by a stretch cable clipped to your belt—providing added safety by automatically cutting power when you step away from the machine.
