What is an Ex Demo Machine?
These are machines that have been used for display purposes in our showroom or demonstration days with customers. They have had very little (if any use) and these machines are all tried and tested through our workshop before despatch.
An ex demo machine may have light scratches or some very limited signs of wear and tear consistent with a few hours of use. They all come with a full manufacturer warranty.
The Mountfield MTF 66 MQ is the updated version of the very popular 827M compact lawn rider and is an ideal entry level ride on for smaller lawns and gardens as it has an overall width of only 73cm. The 66MQ offers 2 mowing functions as standard direct collect and side discharge. With the optional side discharge chute in place all the grass clippings are ejected in a neat line along side the mower. This is a useful function for mowing low traffic areas where the cuttings can be left to wilt back naturally. There is an option to fit a mulch plug which will cut the clippings into a fine mulch before depositing back onto the ground.

The cutting heights on the MTF66 can be set to 5 different positions ranging from 30mm to 64mm. You can then choose the best height to match the cutting conditions. Always start on the highest setting and work down especially in wet or longer grass. If you go in too low too soon you can overwork the mower and cause problems including damaging the drive belts. The deck has a cutting width of 66cm and has a wash link so you clean it off after use.
